Understand before you act
Public data, private habits
Bitcoin addresses are public. Linking them to an identity changes their privacy implications.
Understand the link
When you save an address in a service, that service learns you are interested in it. Avoid labels that expose unnecessary personal information.
Keep your keys offline
Read-only monitoring requires no private key, seed phrase or spending permission. Never paste these secrets into IntelBTC or send them to support.
Know who supplies the data
To track an address or transaction, its public reference may be checked with specialized partners. Your notes and password are not shared with them. Avoid unnecessary personal details in labels.
