Getting started
What does IntelBTC do?
IntelBTC brings your Bitcoin monitoring together: transaction confirmations, address activity, fee alerts, annotated reports and a briefing of what changed. It helps you stay informed without repeatedly checking several pages. It does not promise investment returns.
Does IntelBTC hold or send my bitcoin?
No. IntelBTC only reads public Bitcoin information. It cannot sign or send a transfer, change its fees, recover lost funds or access your wallet. Keep your private keys and recovery phrase exclusively in your own wallet.
How do I get started?
Create an account, confirm your email and open Watchlist. Add the public identifier of a transaction or a Bitcoin address you want to monitor, then create an alert. The free plan lets you explore the service before choosing a paid plan.
Do I need to refresh the pages?
The network and your dashboard update automatically while the page is open. The display normally checks for new information every 15 seconds. Information is collected periodically, so an alert is not instantaneous. If updates are delayed, the page tells you instead of presenting old data as current.
Why does the latest block sometimes stay the same?
Bitcoin does not create blocks on a fixed schedule. A block arrives roughly every ten minutes on average, but the wait may be much shorter or longer. The latest-block list moves forward when a new block is detected; the update time shows when IntelBTC last checked.
Can I use IntelBTC on my phone?
Yes. IntelBTC adapts to phone, tablet and desktop screens, with navigation designed for smaller displays. Use the same account across devices. The website needs an internet connection; a closed browser does not provide push notifications. Eligible email alerts continue according to your preferences.
Transactions and addresses
How do I monitor a transaction?
Copy its transaction identifier from your Bitcoin wallet, then add it under Watchlist and give it a recognisable label. You can set a confirmation target or a waiting-time alert. A public transaction identifier gives IntelBTC no authority to spend your funds.
What does a confirmation alert mean?
The first confirmation means that the transaction was included in a block. Further blocks increase the confirmation count. Choose the target required for your own use; IntelBTC reports when the observed count reaches it. It cannot guarantee when miners will include a transaction.
Can IntelBTC speed up a delayed transaction?
No. A waiting-time alert helps you notice that a monitored transaction remains unconfirmed after your chosen duration. Any change to the transaction must be performed in a compatible wallet by its owner. IntelBTC never asks you to send additional bitcoin to accelerate it.
Are all replaced transactions detected?
IntelBTC can report an observed competing transaction when the available information permits it. Detection is not universal: a transaction that disappears before its first observation, or incomplete information, may prevent a reliable conclusion. Check your wallet when an alert requires action.
What does address monitoring include?
Save a public Bitcoin address to follow its observed balance and activity. An activity rule can notify you when new movement is detected. Monitoring one address does not automatically monitor every address of a wallet; add each address you need, within your plan allowance.
Does my history include every past transaction?
The history records movements observed while your items are being monitored. It is not a complete archive of a wallet or the blockchain. Retention is 7 days on Free, 365 days on Plus and 1095 days on Business. Export useful records before their retention period ends.
Can I add labels and notes?
Yes. Labels make monitored items easier to recognise. You can annotate observed movements from History and include those notes in your reports. Avoid placing secrets or unnecessary personal details in labels and notes.
Alerts and briefings
How do fee alerts work?
Choose your fee threshold in satoshis per virtual byte, shown as sat/vB. IntelBTC notifies you when its observed fee estimate satisfies your rule. This helps you prepare a transfer; it is not a fixed quote or a guarantee of confirmation time. Confirm the final fee in your wallet.
Where do I receive alerts?
Notifications are available in your account. Paid plans also allow email alerts, provided your email is confirmed and email delivery is enabled in your preferences. Check your spam folder if necessary. SMS and mobile push notifications are not currently included.
Can I group alerts instead of receiving many emails?
Yes. In Preferences, choose immediate, hourly, daily or weekly alert emails, or turn them off. You can also choose a briefing frequency. These settings affect email delivery; your account remains the place to review the events that were recorded.
Can I stop alert emails at night?
Set your time zone and quiet hours in Preferences. Eligible messages are postponed to an allowed delivery time. Keep your time zone up to date when your usual schedule changes. Essential account messages, such as password recovery, are handled separately.
What does my personalised briefing contain?
It summarises relevant recorded events for your monitored items since your previous visit, including alerts and available reports. You can acknowledge events already reviewed so they do not keep appearing as new. Its content depends on your own monitoring and the information collected.
Reports and teamwork
How do CSV and PDF reports work?
Choose a date range in Reports and generate a CSV for spreadsheet work or a PDF for a readable document. Plus includes 30 exports per month and Business 300. The report contains your available observed history and annotations. It is not certified accounting or tax advice.
Can reports be generated automatically?
Business lets you schedule a weekly or monthly report in CSV or PDF. The document becomes available in Reports and a notification announces it. Scheduled reports count towards your export allowance. You can disable the schedule from the same page.
How do shared workspaces work?
With Business, create a workspace and invite colleagues by email. They need their own confirmed IntelBTC account to accept the invitation. Invited readers see the items you share with that workspace; your other monitoring stays private. The owner manages the shared items and membership.
Are team allowances separate for every invited member?
No. The owner’s plan governs the shared monitoring. Business currently includes 5 seats per workspace, including the owner. Adding a reader does not create another paid subscription or multiply the owner’s watch and export allowances.
Plans and payments
How much do the plans cost?
The Free plan costs 0.00 €. Plus is 12.00 € per month and Business is 39.00 € per month, including applicable taxes. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. The final amount and any available discounts are shown before payment. Selecting a plan alone does not charge you.
What are the monitoring and alert allowances?
Free includes 3 monitored items and 1 alert rules. Plus includes 25 items and 20 rules. Business includes 250 items and 100 rules. Transactions and addresses share the same item allowance. The Pricing page shows the full comparison.
Is there a free trial of a paid plan?
The current trial settings are Plus: 0 days; Business: 0 days. A value of 0 means no trial. When a trial is offered, its duration and the first payment date appear before you subscribe. Only one trial is allowed per account across both paid plans. Free remains available without a paid subscription.
Which payment methods can I use?
Pay securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. Wallet availability depends on your device, browser and eligible card. PayPal is not offered. IntelBTC does not store your full card number or security code.
Where can I find my invoices and renewal date?
Open Subscription in your account. It shows your current plan, renewal or end date and recorded invoices. Manage subscription opens the secure customer portal where you can retrieve invoices and update payment details. A payment may take a short time to appear while its confirmation is processed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Subscription, then Manage subscription, and choose cancellation. Future renewals stop and access normally continues to the end of the paid period shown in the confirmation. Cancellation alone does not refund the current period. Contact us if you cannot access your account.
When can I request a refund?
The Terms explain withdrawal and applicable consumer rights. Consumers may request withdrawal within 14 days of concluding the contract, using the withdrawal link or the contact form. Other requests, such as a billing error, are examined individually. Cancelling renewal is separate from requesting a refund. A refund returns the amount due to the original payment method; promotional credit is not cash.
Can I change my plan?
A free member can choose Plus or Business from Subscription. To change an already active paid plan, contact us so the transition and its price can be explained without creating a second subscription. Automatic plan switching is not currently available in the customer portal.
What happens if a renewal payment fails?
Your account shows the payment requiring attention and access may return to the free plan. Open Subscription to view the invoice and update your payment method. Stripe manages payment retries. Once payment is confirmed, the subscription state is updated automatically; avoid paying a second time while a payment is still being confirmed.
Referral credits
What do I earn by referring someone?
When the programme is open, a new eligible customer registering through your personal link can earn you subscription credit. At the current normal prices, a qualifying Plus referral earns up to 12.00 € and Business up to 39.00 €. Your plan stays the same. The credit is personal, cannot be transferred and cannot be paid out as cash. The programme conditions shown at registration govern each referral.
When is a referral reward validated?
The standard programme requires 2 distinct monthly payments actually collected, followed by a 14-day waiting period after the qualifying payment. Free trials and invoices fully funded by credits do not count. The reward is limited by the smallest qualifying net payment and the recorded monthly price cap. Verification may take longer if a payment is disputed or an account needs review.
Can I earn several free months in the same month?
Yes. Each eligible referral adds a separate reward, with no limit of one reward per month. Credits automatically reduce future eligible subscription bills, up to the amount due. Any remainder carries forward. Unusual activity may be reviewed without automatically rejecting legitimate referrals.
What if my friend chooses a different plan?
The reward depends on your referred customer’s eligible payments. It reduces your own future bills without changing your plan. For example, 12.00 € of credit reduces a 39.00 € bill to 27.00 €. Discounts, refunds or plan changes can reduce the reward.
What happens to my credit if I cancel?
Unused promotional credit remains available for 24 months from each reward date, according to the conditions recorded for that referral. Cancelling does not restart a subscription or turn credit into a cash refund. Sign in to see each reward’s expiry date. Closing the account ends access to its promotional credit, subject to mandatory legal rights.
What if my friend cancels, is refunded or disputes a payment?
Simply stopping future renewals after the qualifying payments does not remove a valid reward. A refund can reduce or cancel the corresponding reward. A dispute can place it on hold. If the credit has already been used, a correction can reduce future rewards; it never triggers an extra card charge. You can ask us to review a decision.
What if the referral programme is paused?
New referrals stop being accepted and sharing links is no longer offered. Referrals already recorded continue under their saved conditions, including verification and waiting periods. Valid earned credits remain usable until their expiry. The account page explains the current programme status.
Account and privacy
How can I protect my account?
Use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication in Security. IntelBTC supports an authenticator application and compatible passkeys as a second step after the password. Keep recovery codes in a safe place separate from your usual device. Never share a code with someone claiming to be support.
How long can this device stay signed in?
The sign-in option can recognise a personal device for up to 30 days. Avoid using it on shared or public devices. You can revoke recognised devices and sessions in Security. Sensitive actions may ask you to confirm your identity again.
What if I forget my password or lose my authenticator?
Use Forgotten password on the sign-in page and follow the email link. A password reset does not remove your second factor. If your authenticator is unavailable, use a recovery code or a previously registered compatible passkey. Contact support if you cannot complete the recovery; never send your password or recovery codes in the contact form.
Can I change my cookie preferences?
Yes. Use the cookie button on the site or the privacy settings in your account. Essential cookies keep the service and sign-in working. Optional audience measurement requires your choice when it is offered. Search in this FAQ is performed on the page and is not sent to an external search service.
Can I export my account information?
An account data export is available in your preferences after identity confirmation. It is separate from paid CSV/PDF activity reports and does not include passwords or authentication secrets. The Privacy page explains your other data rights and how to contact us.
How do I close my account?
Use the account deletion option in Preferences and confirm your identity. An active paid subscription must be ended first to avoid leaving a renewal running. Your monitoring and reports are removed; some records may be retained where required for billing, legal obligations or proportionate fraud prevention, as explained in Privacy.
How do I contact IntelBTC?
Use Contact from the footer. Choose the subject, describe the problem and provide the account email when useful. A reference identifies your request. For a transaction question, you may include its public identifier; never include private keys, authentication codes or full card details.
Tools and widget
How should I use the fee calculator?
Enter the estimated transaction size and your selected fee rate. The result is an estimate to help you compare options. A Bitcoin fee depends on transaction size, not only on the amount sent. Your wallet provides the final transaction size and fee before you approve the transfer.
Can I add the network widget to my own website?
Yes. On Network, choose the widget theme or a custom colour, set its width and height, then copy the embed code. The widget updates automatically and shows public network information only. Reset returns the configurator to its original values. Your hosting provider must allow embedded frames.
What happens when Bitcoin information is temporarily unavailable?
IntelBTC can try an alternative information provider and keep the latest known values visible with an appropriate freshness indication. If no fresh information is available, some checks and alerts may be delayed. Service status and Methodology explain these limits. Monitoring must not replace checks in your own wallet.
